PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- If nothing else, Rick Dudley has found a pretty good scoring line.

Valeri Bure and linemate Kristian Huselius set up each other in the second period and Roberto Luongo made 33 saves as the Florida Panthers posted a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Bure fed Huselius in the slot on a rush down the right wing for a 2-0 lead 84 seconds into the second. With 5:21 to go in the period, Huselius returned the favor, sending Bure in alone with a pretty behind-the-back pass.

"Bure made a nice pass to me on the first goal," said Huselius, who scored just once in the previous 14 games. "On his goal, I saw the defenseman coming towards me and gave it to him. That's two nice goals."

Since returning from a groin injury that sidelined him for 11 games, Bure has four goals and four assists in eight contests.

During that stretch, Bure has five points in two games against Pittsburgh. In 30 career meetings with the Penguins, he has 23 points - his highest total against any NHL team.

"He is a talented guy," Penguins coach Ed Olczyk said. "He just seems to enjoy playing against us. He was even highlighted in our pregame talk. He is a skilled guy who finds ways to get loose pucks."

Bure and Huselius have been jelling with Stephen Weiss, who was with his linemates for both goals. In the last five games (3-2-0), the three have combined for half of Florida's 14 goals.

"I think our line has played very well," Huselius said. "I think we create some good chances. If we keep putting the puck on net, we'll score some goals."

"It is a line that is beginning to find itself together," added Dudley, the Panthers' coach and general manager.

Olli Jokinen also scored for the Panthers, who improved to 1-1-0 on a road trip that concludes Sunday night in Atlanta. They are 2-1-0 since Dudley fired Mike Keenan and took over behind the bench.

Milan Kraft and defenseman Drake Berehowsky scored for Pittsburgh, which was unable to build on Friday night's 2-1 overtime win in Buffalo, losing for the fifth time in six games.

The Penguins' biggest problem has been their offense, which is last in the NHL with 31 goals. It doesn't help that they are playing without their best player - Mario Lemieux - and top scorer - Rico Fata - due to injuries.

"I really believe in the last couple games that we made a concerted effort, throwing pucks at the net," said Olczyk, whose team is next-to-last in the Eastern Conference at 4-9-3. "That's what we have to continue to do."

Penguins goaltender Sebastien Caron made his second straight start in place of 18-year-old Marc-Andre Fleury, the top pick in the 2003 draft. Olczyk was happy with the way he played.

"Absolutely," Olczyk said. "You certainly have to look at the goals. Two of the goals were break opportunities."
