*Young expected to return for Titans*

Oakland (2-4) at Tennessee (4-2) Sunday 1:00 pm EDT

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) - Vince Young is expected to return to the lineup Sunday when the Tennessee Titans host the Oakland Raiders.

Young was on the sidelines for last Sunday's wild 38-36 victory at Houston due to a sore right quadriceps, which he suffered on October 14.

"It was a very clear-cut decision we had to make," Titans coach Jeff Fisher told the Tennessean. "Now we have moved forward and said, 'OK, you have healed up to the point where you can go, so we expect you to take all the reps on the practice field and we'll put this behind you.'"

Fisher said the Titans will be cautious with Young in practice this week.

"We'll be wise about it, and we'll get him back on the practice field and work him into it," Fisher told the newspaper. "But I think two weeks will be sufficient from a healing standpoint where he won't re-injure it."

In five games this season, Young has thrown for just three touchdowns with six interceptions. He also has rushed for a score.

Kerry Collins started in Young's place against the Texans and completed 25-of-42 passes for 280 yards without a turnover.

Rob Bironas was the hero against the Texans as he kicked an NFL-record eight field goals. Bironas' final field goal, a 29-yarder gave the Titans the win in a game in which they squandered a 32-7 fourth-quarter deficit.

The Raiders enter this contest looking to surpass their win total from all of last season. But in order to do that, they will have to avoid a third straight loss.

In losing to Kansas City and San Diego the last two weeks, the Raiders have managed a total of 24 points. Last Sunday, the Raiders managed just 268 total yards and 10 first downs in a 12-10 setback to Kansas City.

Oakland may have a tough time getting its offense going against Tennessee, which allows 290.0 yards per game to rank sixth in the league.
