LANDOVER, Maryland (Ticker) -- Deuce McAllister is getting close to some impressive company.

McAllister recorded his ninth straight 100-yard game, rushing for 165 yards on 30 carries, as the New Orleans Saints rallied for a 24-20 victory over the Washington Redskins.

McAllister's streak is tied with Walter Payton (1985) and Fred Taylor (2000) for the third-longest in NFL history. Only Barry Sanders (14) and Marcus Allen (11) are ahead of him.

"You can think about that after the season," said McAllister, who has rushed for 1,393 yards this year. "The 'Ws' are a lot more important."

McAllister was kept out of the end zone, but accounted for 196 of the Saints' 310 yards. He also caught four passes for 31 yards.

"You know he's going to get five yards per carry," Redskins cornerback Ashley Ambrose said.

Aaron Brooks had a hand in all three Saints' touchdowns, rushing for a pair of scores and tossed a 15-yard TD pass to tight end Boo Williams with 9:38 remaining that erased a 20-17 deficit.

Brooks completed 14-of-30 passes for 121 yards for the Saints (6-6), who have won five of their last seven to stay in the playoff race.

The Saints spoiled the first career start of Tim Hasselbeck, who completed 21-of-41 passes for 217 yards with an interception. Hasselbeck stepped in for Patrick Ramsey, who was sidelined with a foot injury.

The Redskins (4-8) got a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown from former Saint Chad Morton and their first 100-yard game of the season as Trung Canidate rushed for 115 yards on 16 carries. But Washington squandered a lead in the fourth quarter for the third straight week and have dropped seven of their last eight following a 3-1 start.

"We're just in a bad habit right now," Redskins coach Steve Spurrier said. "If something bad is happening to us in the game, we're not making anything good happen to overcome it."

John Hall's 49-yard field goal gave the Redskins a 20-17 lead early in the fourth quarter, but Keyuo Craver's 52-yard return on the ensuing kickoff set up the the Saints' winning drive. McAllister carried three times for 18 yards and caught a pass for five yards on the six-yard, 40-yard possession.

Matt Hasselbeck led Seattle to a 34-7 win over Cleveland Sunday. It marked only the second time in NFL history that brothers started for different teams on the same day. Brock Huard and Damon Huard started for Seattle and Miami, respectively, on November 26, 2000.
