JACKSONVILLE, Florida (Ticker) -- Steve McNair taught a lesson to the NFL's best rookie quarterback.

McNair continued his remarkable season, completing 21-of-27 passes for 187 yards and a touchdown to lead the Tennessee Titans to a 30-17 victory over Byron Leftwich and the struggling Jaguars.

McNair entered Sunday as the league leader in passing yards with 1,791 and had the highest quarterback rating in the NFL at 106.8. He hardly slowed down and outplayed Leftwich, who threw three interceptions.

Tennessee (6-2) extended its winning streak over Jacksonville to four games and has won nine of the last 11 meetings between the teams, including the 1999 AFC Championship game.

McNair is a big part of that success, completing 64.4 percent of his passes for 2,633 yards and 16 touchdowns in 12 career games against the Jaguars (1-6).

The Titans jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, highlighted by Eddie George's one-yard touchdown run. McNair made it 17-3 with a seven-yard touchdown pass to rookie Tyrone Calico in the second quarter.

Leftwich responded with a 49-yard TD pass to Jimmy Smith but struggled thereafter. He was 15-of-28 for 158 yards before being replaced by David Garrard in the final minutes.

George helped Tennessee pull away with another touchdown in the third quarter and finished with 88 yards on 27 carries.
