BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The Baltimore Ravens had no trouble stopping a third-string quarterback, allowing only 194 yards of offense in a 26-6 win over the Denver Broncos.

Danny Kanell showed the rust of going three years without a start, completing only 16-of-31 passes for 114 yards with two interceptions and a pair of fumbles in place of Denver's top two quarterbacks.

Trying to rally the Broncos (5-3), Kanell threw both of his interceptions in the fourth quarter, leading to a pair of touchdowns in the final 7:35.

Rookie Kyle Boller wasn't much better, but he didn't need to be, going 15-of-27 for 137 yards and a touchdown. His five-yard TD pass to tight end Terry Jones with 7:35 to play made it 16-6.

Jamal Lewis put away Denver with 1:56 remaining, running untouched around the left side for a 28-yard scoring run. The NFL's leading rusher surpassed 100 yards for the sixth straight game, picking up 134 on a career-high 31 carries.

Interceptions by linebacker Ray Lewis and safety Gary Baxter set up the fourth-quarter scores.

With Kanell at quarterback, the Ravens' defense was able to key on Clinton Portis, who rushed 22 times for a quiet 86 yards.

Matt Stover kicked four field goals for the Ravens (4-3), who maintained their lead in the AFC Central Division.

The Broncos (5-3) dropped their second straight and fell 2 1/2 games behind unbeaten Kansas City in the AFC West.
