JACKSONVILLE, Florida (Ticker) -- The "Big Three" of the Buffalo Bills came up big.

Drew Bledsoe, Travis Henry and Eric Moulds all enjoyed productive games as the Bills rolled to a 38-17 rout of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

With an improved defense, the Bills (2-0) possess one of the NFL's best offenses with Bledsoe, Henry and Moulds. They had little trouble displaying their firepower in this one.

"It's offense, defense and special teams," Bills coach Gregg Williams said. "Last week we scored on defense twice. We think our team speed has gotten better, and I think that is reflective in some big plays we were able to make in every phase."

Bledsoe led the aerial attack, competing 19-of-25 passes for 314 yards and two touchdowns. One of his TDs was a 36-yard connection to Moulds in the third quarter that opened a 28-10 lead. Moulds finished with seven catches for 133 yards.

Henry, the leader of the ground game, rushed for three touchowns. He was held to 25 yards on 21 carries, but was effective when he had to be.

The highlight of the day for the Jaguars (0-2) was first-round pick Byron Leftwich's five-yard touchdown pass to tight end George Wrighster, a fellow rookie, late in the fourth quarter.

It was the worst home loss in the Jaguars' nine-year history. They were beaten by 19 points by Washington during the 2000 season.

"We will continue to get better as a football team," Jaguars first-year coach Jack Del Rio said. "We're looking forward to the next challange, which is two divisional opponents on the road. We have plenty of work ahead of us. We'll make the corrections. We have a 24-hour rule and win or lose we attack these problems and move on."

After a rousing 31-0 win in their season opener against New England, the Bills showed no letdown from that contest as they scored on their first two possessions.

"Our starts in both our games in 2003 have been impressive," Williams said. "Again our motto has been, `Stay Fast, Play Fast,' and our offense set the tempo in the opener, and they set the tempo in this one how they executed and we were able to somewhat diminish the crowd effectiveness."

On the game's opening drive, it took the Bills less than four minutes to move 49 yards in seven plays. Henry capped the march by scoring on a one-yard run.

The Jaguars went three-and-out on their intial possession and the Bills went 68 yards in nine plays. This time, Henry scored on a six-yard run to make it 14-0 with 4:50 left in the first quarter.

After a fake punt backfired, the Jaguars took advantage early in the second quarter to move 44 yards in nine plays. On 4th-and-goal from the 1, quarterback Mark Brunell ran a draw and leaped over the top for a TD.

Brunell was relatively ineffective against the Bills' revamped defense. He completed 19-of-33 passes for just 121 yards and was sacked three times.

"The passing game wasn't as sharp as it needed to be," Brunell said. "Fortunately it's early. We'll still work hard and keep believing."

Leftwich, who came on the fourth quarter, went 7-of-8 for 92 yards. Jacksonville did have 10 different players catch a pass.

But Bledsoe had more firepower at his disposal. He connected with former Jaguar Bobby Shaw on a 54-yard TD pass with 1:37 left in the first half, giving the Bills a 21-7 lead.

"He's a very accurate quarterback and when he gets hot, he really hurts you," Del Rio said. "We did not do enough coverage or pressure to disrupt his timing. He was solid all day."

Shaw had three catches for 81 yards. Josh Reed added five receptions for 71 yards.

After Seth Marler kicked a 44-yard field goal on the Jaguars' opening possession of the third quarter, the Bills responded.

Bledsoe engineered a 10-play, 70-yard drive. He kept the march alive with a three-yard connection to fullback Sam Gash on 4th-and-1 to the Jaguars 36.

But on 3rd-and-10 from the 36, Bledsoe came up even bigger when he hung in the pocket and lofted a pass over the middle to Moulds for a touchdown, extending the lead to 28-10 with 8:03 left in the quarter.

The Bills were even more impressive on their next drive, going 99 yards in seven plays. The drive was aided by a 42-yard interference penalty on cornerback Fernando Bryant and capped by Henry's four-yard run that gave the Bills a 35-10 lead.
