Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals

Recap | Boxscore

TEMPE, Arizona (Ticker) -- The Minnesota Vikings could clinch their first division title since 2000 on Sunday when they battle the Arizona Cardinals.

The Vikings would need a victory here or a loss by Green Bay to Denver in order to secure their first division title since winning the NFC Central in 2000.

However, the Vikings have played their worst football on the road, where they have lost their last four contests while surrendering an average of 32.8 points per game.

The Vikings came up big in a crucial game last Saturday, rolling to a 45-20 victory over Kansas City. Daunte Culpepper passed for three touchdowns and rookie Onterrio Smith rushed for 146 yards and three scores.

A fourth-round pick, Smith has rushed for 294 yards in his last two games.

It has been another disappointing season for the Cardinals, who are tied with San Diego for NFL's worst record. Arizona also has lost seven straight games entering this contest.

The woeful campaign could put coach Dave McGinnis' job in jeopardy. In his third full season, McGinnis has registered just a 15-33 record.

One of the few bright spots for the Cardinals has been Pro Bowl wide receiver Anquan Boldin, who has surpassed Terry Glenn's rookie record of catches in a season. Boldin has 96 catches for 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns.

Minnesota leads the series, 10-8.
