Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns

Recap | Boxscore

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The NFL's two-worst scoring offenses will be on display Sunday when the Cleveland Browns host the Arizona Cardinals.

The Browns rank 31st in points, averaging just 15.0 per game. They have been held to 14 or fewer points - three times at home - in six of nine contests.

As bad as the Browns have been, the Cardinals have been slightly worse, averaging just 14.4 points to rank last in the league.

In last Sunday's 41-20 loss at Kansas City, the Browns managed just 199 total yards. With running back William Green suspended, James Jackson carried 17 times for 66 yards and a touchdown.

Green was banned for that game by coach Butch Davis after getting arrested two weeks ago on charges of drunken driving and marijuana possession. The NFL on Thursday slapped Green with a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Cleveland is struggling defensively, allowing 76 points during its three-game losing streak. Last week, they gave up 438 total yards, 30 first downs and the Chiefs converted 12-of-16 third downs.

The road continued to be unfriendly to the Cardinals, who are coming off last Sunday's 28-15 defeat at Pittsburgh. Jeff Blake passed for 307 yards and two touchdowns in the defeat.

Arizona has lost all four of its road games by double digits, getting beaten by an average of 18.0 points per contest.

The Browns lead the series, 32-11-3.
