BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The end zone continues to be a place that the Baltimore Ravens can't find.

Linebacker Randall Godfrey returned an interception 24 yards for a touchdown early in the the third quarter as the Tennessee Titans won their sixth straight game, 14-6 over the sputtering Ravens.

Despite outplaying the Titans for most of the afternoon, Baltimore again was done in by its offense that failed to produce a touchdown for the fourth straight game.

"What happened in the Middle East is a crisis, this is not a crisis," said Baltimore coach Brian Billick, referring to his club's struggles on offense. "This is something you work through. That is what we have to focus on."

Ravens quarterback Tony Banks threw three interceptions before being replaced by Trent Dilfer on the first possession of the fourth quarter. Dilfer also threw an interception.

Billick, who said earlier this season that Banks would remain the starter for the entire season, was non-commital about who would start at quarterback next week against Pittsburgh.

Dilfer had the Ravens in position to tie it with under two minutes left, driving his club inside the Tennessee 30. On fourth down from the 33, Dilfer found Qadry Ismail in the left corner of the end zone, but the receiver came down out of bounds. The play was reviewed but was overruled.

"I've been in this before. This is what it was like in Tampa Bay," Dilfer said. "The best advice I got was that you prepare every week like you're the starter. It's been a while since I've played, but I'm ready all the time."

Tennessee (6-1) increased its lead to 1 1/2 games over the Ravens (5-3) in the AFC Central but may have suffered a huge loss, when running back Eddie George went down with a right knee injury early in the first quarter and did not return.

Godfrey, signed as a free agent in the offseason, intercepted Banks 1:38 into the second half and returned the ball untouched down the left sideline, giving Baltimore a 14-6 advantage.

"I was just mirroring the quarterback and he threw it right at me," said Godfrey, who picked off Banks again later in the third quarter. "I was just lucky being in the right place at the right time."

Banks completed 17-of-32 passes for 229 yards and was the target of boos from the PSINet-record crowd of 69,200. Dilfer went 7-of-13 for 58 yards.

The Ravens held a 368-191 edge in total yards and garnered 24 first downs, compared to just seven for Tennessee.

"We found a way to win today. When you find ways to win like we did, it makes it special," Titans coach Jeff Fisher said. "Considering the loss of Eddie early, it was something psychological to overcome. I think we got past it when Rodney (Thomas) started making the plays."

George suffered his injury on the Titans' second play from scrimmage after getting tackled by defensive tackle Tony Sirgusa. George was diagnosed with sprained left knee and will be re-evaluated on Monday.

The Titans seemed to miss George as they drove to the Baltimore 40. On 4th-and-inches, George's replacement Thomas was taken down for a loss.

Siragusa sustained a spinal chord injury on that play after colliding with fullback Lorenzo Neal. Siragusa was carried from the field on a stretcher, went to a local hospital for an MRI, but amazingly returned to the contest late in the second quarter.

Sparked by that defensive stop, the Ravens drove right down the field. Banks had the big play of the drive, connecting with Ismail on a 20-yard pass to the Tennessee 29.

Just a yard away from scoring their first touchdown since the fourth quarter against Cincinnati on September 24, the Ravens' drive stalled when Banks mishandled a snap on third down. Matt Stover came on and kicked a 21-yard field goal.

Baltimore held a 97-13 advantage in total yards in the opening period.

The Ravens continued to look like they found their offense on their first possession of the second quarter, when they drove 77 yards in 15 plays. But d a big afternoon, with eight receptions for 104 yards.
