*White scores two TDs as Navy blanks Army*
PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Shun White and Navy raced to another easy victory over Army.
White rushed for 147 yards and scored two touchdowns Saturday as the Midshipmen blanked the Cadets, 34-0, to win the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy for the seventh straight year.
Eric Kettani ran for 125 and a TD for Navy (8-4), which improved to 53-49-7 all-time in this storied rivalry between the two service academies.
With President George W. Bush among the 69,144 in attendance at sold out Lincoln Financial Field, the Midshipmen rolled to their seventh consecutive double-digit victory over Army (3-9), which finished with just 154 yards from scrimmage.
In last year's game against the Cadets, Navy was paced by 5-6 Reggie Campbell, who scored two TDs and finished with 227 total yards in a 38-3 blowout.
Twelve months later, the diminutive White stole the show for the Midshipmen, who own the longest winning streak in the history of this 109-year-old series.
The 5-9 White, who was named the game's MVP, gave Navy the lead for good less than three minutes into the contest when he scored on a 65-yard TD run.
After taking a 10-0 lead on Matt Harmon's 23-yard field goal late in the first quarter, Navy found the end zone again with 3:18 remaining in the first half when Kaipo Nao Kaheaku Enhada tossed an 18-yard TD pass to White.
Kettani scored on a 5-yard run midway through the third quarter, and Navy punctuated the blowout when Ram Vela returned an interception 67 yards for a touchdown with 30 seconds remaining.
Sporting black jerseys and camouflage helmets, Army was led by Collin Mooney, who ran for 55 yards on 17 carries. The 247-pound senior ran for 1 yard on the final play of the game to set a school single-season rushing record of 1,339 yards.
