HONOLULU (Ticker) -- Donny Heck made the most of his carries.

Heck had only 87 yards on 25 carries but ran for four touchdowns as No. 17 Boise State pulled away from Hawaii, 45-28, for its 18th consecutive Western Athletic Conference victory.

Ryan Dinwiddie completed 20-of-31 passes for 329 yards and an interception for the Broncos (12-1, 8-0), who won their 10th straight game overall and improved to 24-2 over the last two seasons. Boise State, which already clinched the WAC title, will face Texas Christian on December 23 in the inaugural Fort Worth Bowl.

Boise State had a 24-21 advantage before Heck scored his second touchdown, an eight-yard run with 11 seconds left in the third quarter. He added fourth-quarter scores of two and 13 yards around a 14-yard touchdown pass from Hawaii backup Timmy Chang to Chad Owens with 9:49 left.

Heck's final score came after Owens slipped making a cut on a passing route and Boise State safety Chris Carr intercepted Chang at the Hawaii 22 with 5 1/2 minutes remaining.

Hawaii starter Josh Whieldon was 23-of-44 for 195 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions before being replaced by Chang early in the fourth quarter. Chang went 10-of-19 for 110 yards with a touchdown and an interception for the Warriors (8-5, 5-3), who host Houston in the Hawaii Bowl on December 25.

The Warriors took their only lead, 7-0, with 3:44 left in the first quarter on a four-yard toss from Whieldon to Jeremiah Cockharen, but the Broncos scored the next 17 points, moving in front for good on Heck's seven-yard run 2 1/2 minutes into the second quarter.

Boise State opened a 24-14 advantage on another seven-yard run by David Mikell with 58 seconds left before halftime before Hawaii pulled within three points on a 17-yard TD by Mike Bass early in the third quarter.
