HONOLULU (Ticker) -- No. 18 Boise State tries to reach 12 wins for the second straight year on Saturday when it closes the regular season at Hawaii.

The Broncos (11-1, 7-0 WAC), who have clinched at least a berth in the Humanitarian Bowl, are 23-2 in the last two seasons. They capped last season with a 34-16 victory over Iowa in the Humanitarian Bowl.

Boise State has accepted a "conditional" invitation to play Texas Christian in the inaugural Fort Worth Bowl on December 23. The bid is conditional since the Big 12 Conference has the first right to the Fort Worth Bowl and has eight bowl-eligible teams to fill the conference's bowl allotment.

However, if two Big 12 teams secure berths in the bowl championship series, the Fort Worth Bowl has the opportunity to invite Boise State.

The Broncos, who routed Nevada, 56-3, last week to wrap up a second straight conference title, are seeking their 18th straight WAC victory.

Ryan Dinwiddie remained red hot for Boise State, completing 17-of-24 passes for 375 yards and four touchdowns and running for a pair of scores. Dinwiddie set school records for career passing yards (9,165) and touchdown passes (79), and single-season marks for passing yards (3,702) and total offense (3,775).

Dinwiddie, who is threatening to set an NCAA single-season record for passing efficiency, has completed 237-of-380 passes with 28 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

Tim Gilligan already has set a school record for receiving yards in a season (1,164), but the Broncos got a big game last week from Tony McPherson, the team's seventh-leading receiver. McPherson caught four passes for 101 yards, giving him just 15 receptions this season.

Hawaii is coming off a 37-29 victory over Alabama. Jason Wheldon came off the bench in the second quarter to throw four touchdown passes in relief of an ineffective Timmy Chang, who was replaced after completing just 7-of-23 passes for 38 yards.

Wheldon ran his consecutive completions streak to 22 - one shy of the NCAA record - before throwing his first incompletion. He completed his last 16 passes against Army the week before and his first six tosses against Alabama.

The Warriors (8-4, 5-2) forced three turnovers and sacked Crimson Tide quarterback Brodie Croyle a season-high six times.

The Broncos defeated Hawaii, 58-31, last season in Boise without Dinwiddie, who was sidelined with a broken ankle. The win improved Boise State's all-time record against Hawaii to 2-2.
