*Timberwolves, Bucks ready to end dismal seasons*

Milwaukee (26-55) at Minnesota (21-60) 8:00 pm EDT

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) - The Minnesota Timberwolves got exactly what they expected this season after trading franchise player Kevin Garnett before the start of the 2007-08 campaign.

The Timberwolves close out their regular-season schedule on Wednesday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks.

Minnesota (21-60) enters the game with the third worst record in the NBA ahead of only the Seattle SuperSonics (19-62) and the Miami Heat (14-67).

The Timberwolves were expected to struggle after trading Garnett to the Boston Celtics in return for a package of players, including Al Jefferson - the lone player who showed promise this year.

Jefferson is averaging a team-high 21 points and 11 rebounds per game and is tied for second in the NBA with 54 double-doubles this season.

The Bucks have lost seven consecutive games, including a 151-135 setback against the Chicago Bulls on Monday. Andrew Bogut scored 25 points to lead six players in double figures for Milwaukee.
