PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- After Aaron McKie gave the Philadelphia 76ers a shot in the arm, rookie Kyle Korver gave the Miami Heat some parting shots.
McKie scored 20 points and led a third-quarter rally and Korver scored all seven of his points in a fourth-quarter surge as the 76ers rolled to an 87-76 victory over the Heat, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.
The 76ers again won without NBA leading scorer Allen Iverson, improving to 3-1 without their injured superstar. They have won 10 of their last 11 meetings with the Heat.
"I thought Korver and McKie hit some big shots for us that gave us some confidence," Sixers coach Randy Ayers said. "It got the crowd into the game and we were able to sustain that."
Philadelphia trailed the entire first half and was still in a 48-38 hole early in the third quarter when McKie came alive, fueling a 15-2 run with three straight 3-pointers. The 6-5 swingman leads the NBA in 3-point percentage.
"Anytime you make shots, the basket gets a little bigger and your percentages go up," McKie said.
A jumper by Eric Snow early in the final period gave the Sixers the lead for good at 63-61 before Korver emerged, making a pair of 20-footers and a 3-pointer that beat the shot clock in less than 90 seconds. Philadelphia led by at least six points thereafter.
"It felt really good," said Korver, who scored a season-high 14 points in Sunday's loss to Utah. "It's been a while since I've had a chunk of minutes at one time. I don't know what the score was before and after I hit those shots. I was out there playing hard."
Glenn Robinson had his best game of the season with 19 points for the Sixers, who shot a season-high 56.5 percent (35-of-62) from the field. Iverson missed his second straight game with a sore right knee and may go on the injured list.
Rookie Dwyane Wade scored 22 points and Eddie Jones added 20 for the Heat, who were held to 34 points in the second half. Miami has lost seven in a row in the series.
"It's been their defensive intensity and pressure that has allowed them to dominate us the way they have the last couple of years," Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said. "That was certainly the case tonight. We just couldn't score in the second half."
McKie's three 3-pointers gave Philadelphia a 51-50 lead, and Samuel Dalembert capped the burst with a bucket.
"It came down to Aaron McKie being left alone in the corner a few times," Heat forward Brian Grant said. "Even though we were running at him, he had a good look and knocked them down."
McKie answered Wade's 3-pointer with a jumper for a 74-66 lead with 6:51 to go. His short jumper and 3-pointer in the final two minutes snuffed Miami's last rally.
"I don't get comfortable just hanging at the 3-point line," McKie said. "I still want to go to the basket and make layups."
