CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Jamal Crawford and the Chicago Bulls used a balanced attack to snap a four-game losing streak.

Crawford and rookie Kirk Hinrich each scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures as the Bulls cruised to an 86-75 victory over the Eastern Conference-leading Indiana Pacers.

"We needed the win," Crawford said. "We have been working real well, we deserve this. We have to keep on improving and playing together."

Hinrich topped his previous season high of 17 points set in Friday's loss in Milwaukee.

"Kirk is fearless," Bulls coach Scott Skiles said. "He plays the game with reckless abandon that is not out of control. That is why we like him, we are high on him."

Chicago also received a strong effort from its frontcourt as three players contributed double-doubles. Reserve forward Marcus Fizer contributed 15 points and 15 rebounds, Jerome Williams had 10 and 15 and former Pacer Antonio Davis contributed 10 and 10.

"When I am in the game, I will play 110 percent," Williams said. "Tonight it happened to be 44 minutes."

Ron Artest scored 23 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 19 for Indiana (18-6), which remained a game ahead of New Orleans atop the Central Division.

"It's disappointing because we had been gaining momentum and doing good things," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. "We took a step back in terms of our being able to sustain intensity."

Indiana led 46-40 at halftime, but Chicago opened the third period with a 21-3 run to build a 61-49 cushion. Crawford's 3-pointer capped the spurt with 5:17 left.

"We try not to let it happen, but the third quarter, which has usually been a strong quarter for us, really got away from us today," Pacers guard Reggie Miller said.

Chicago shot just 38 percent (33-of-86) but outrebounded Indiana, 53-39.

Bulls center Eddy Curry left with 1:11 to go in the first quarter with a bruised left knee.
