TORONTO (Ticker) -- The recent additions have pumped some energy into the Toronto Raptors.

Donyell Marshall, one of three players acquired earlier in the week, made five of a franchise-record 17 3-pointers as the Raptors posted a 105-95 victory over the Boston Celtics.

Marshall and Vince Carter scored 21 points apiece for Toronto, which shot just under 71 percent (17-of-24) from 3-point range, breaking its previous record of 15 set against Utah on November 1, 2001. Averaging under 80 points, the Raptors surpassed the century mark in regulation for the first time this season.

Toronto has won both games since upgrading its offense Monday by acquiring swingman Jalen Rose and forwards Marshall and Lonny Baxter in a six-player trade with the Chicago Bulls. Marshall scored 27 points in his Raptors' debut on Tuesday.

"We know they've (Raptors) struggled with energy and that's something Jalen and I talked about," Marshall said. "We wanted to come in here and give the guys a lift."

Returning home after beating Philadelphia, 95-88, in the finale of a four-game road trip, the Raptors won on the back end of games on consecutive nights for the first time this season. They had been 0-5 in such affairs, averaging just 64.4 points.

"It's refreshing because now we have some other guys who can draw some double-teams and that leaves me open on the wing," said Carter, who also dished out 10 assists. "We were feeding off each other."

Toronto won both ends of a back-to-back set for the first time since March 27, 2002. The Raptors extended a team record by holding an opponent under 100 points for the 19th straight game.

Paul Pierce scored 23 points and Vin Baker added 17 for the slumping Celtics, who have dropped seven of their last nine.

"It seemed like every 3-point shot they took went in," Baker said. "Vince did a good job of finding people."

The Raptors tied a franchise record with nine 3-pointers in the first half, building a 51-43 lead. They led by as many as 19 late in the fourth quarter.

"This team has plenty of shooters," Marshall said. "It's just a matter of guys getting their confidence."

Despite its hot shooting from beyond the arc, Toronto only finished at 42 percent (36-of-85).

But the Raptors buried the Celtics with their long-range shooting. Morris Peterson made four 3-pointers and Carter and Alvin Williams three each. Williams scored 18, Chris Bosh 16 and Peterson 15 off the bench.
