SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- Every time the Golden State Warriors made a run, Tim Duncan or another San Antonio Spur answered.

Duncan contributed 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Spurs made half their shots and beat the Warriors for the 12th straight time at home, 94-81.

Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili added 19 points apiece for the Spurs, who shot a season-high 50 percent (38-of-76) from the field as they handed the Warriors a seventh straight road defeat dating to last season.

The Spurs held a 58-45 lead three minutes into the third quarter before the Warriors pulled within 60-57 on a layup by Erick Dampier with 4:56 left in the period. But Duncan countered with a layup, Ginobili buried a 3-pointer and Golden State got no closer than five points thereafter.

"It was a fine game from beginning to end," Spurs coach Gregg Popvich said. "I thought we did a fine job defensively. We kept it at a high level for the large part of 48 minutes."

"We tried to stop them and double-team them," said Warriors guard Jason Richardson, who scored 13 points but shot 4-of-11. "They found out what we were doing defensively and adjusted. They figured us out."

San Antonio made 10-of-17 3-point attempts while Golden State was just 3-of-10.

"It was great for us," Duncan said of their shooting from the arc. "It spread out the court for us and we were able to get some open looks."

Parker, Ginobili and Hedo Turkoglu each nailed three 3-pointers.

"I feel really good right now," said Turkoglu, who had 11 points off the bench. "My shot was there tonight. I've been working on my shot with the coaches."

Dampier had 17 points and 11 rebounds to pace the Warriors, who have not won in San Antonio since February 14, 1997.

All five Golden State starters reached double figures, but the Warriors received just 14 points from their reserves.
