Recap | Boxscore

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers can become the first team in the NBA to reach 20 victories as they continue a three-game homestand Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic.

Indiana owns the Eastern Conference's best record and is off to a fast start for the second season in a row. The Pacers reached 20 wins in their 28th game last campaign.

The Pacers have won three of four since returning from a five-game West Coast trip and are 10-2 at home. They extended their home winning streak to eight games with Monday's 95-85 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Jermaine O'Neal scored 24 points to lead five players in double figures and grabbed 10 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the season.

Orlando has won three of five following its team-record 19-game losing streak.

The Magic had won consecutive road games but struggled in a 102-88 loss at Chicago on Tuesday. They allowed 60 points in the second half.

Tracy McGrady led the Magic with 26 points but had just eight after halftime, when he shot 3-of-12.

The Pacers improved to 10-5 in their last 15 meetings with the Magic by recording an 89-78 victory at Orlando on November 24. Facing a team that was without McGrady (flu), the Pacers got 22 points and 19 rebounds from O'Neal.
