Recap | Boxscore

MIAMI (Ticker) -- The Miami Heat try to extend their season-high winning streak to four games on Tuesday when they host the Atlanta Hawks.

On Sunday, the Heat edged Toronto on the road, 80-79, as rookie Dwyane Wade hit a jump hook in the lane with 28 seconds. Wade scored 23 points as Miami improved to just 2-11 away from home.

Brian Grant recorded 19 points and 13 rebounds and Lamar Odom also had a double-double with 17 and 16 for the Heat, who rallied from an 11-point third-quarter deficit.

The contest featured a bizarre moment with 44 seconds left when Toronto's Vince Carter was accidently elbowed in the head in a collision with Miami coach Stan Van Gundy.

The Hawks have lost three in a row and seven of eight, including a 105-102 setback to Orlando on Saturday.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 25 points, Stephen Jackson 20 and Dion Glover 19 for the Hawks, who committed 19 turnovers that the Magic converted into 25 points.

On November 28, the Hawks beat the Heat in Atlanta, 95-83, behind 34 points and 12 rebounds by Abdur-Rahim. Miami has won three in a row at home over Atlanta.
