Recap | Boxscore

BOSTON (Ticker) -- The Boston Celtics can extend their home winning streak over the struggling Seattle SuperSonics to five games on Wednesday at the FleetCenter.

The Celtics have won their last four home games against the Suns, who have not won here since January 9, 1998. They have won 12 of the last 20 overall meetings between the teams after sweeping the 2002-03 season series.

Boston has bounced back from a four-game losing streak with consecutive wins, including a 102-80 road victory against the Utah Jazz on Monday.

Eric Williams scored 19 points and Mike James added 18 and nine assists for the Celtics, who shot 51 percent (38-of-74) from the floor and made nine 3-pointers.

Paul Pierce was held to 14 points on 5-of-15 shooting, but Boston still led by as many as 33 in the fourth quarter.

The Celtics played without forward Vin Baker - the team's second-leading scorer - who sat out with the flu but is expected to play on Wednesday.

Boston has lost four of its last five games at the FleetCenter, where it plays six of its next seven.

Seattle fell to 0-2 on a four-game road trip with a 101-88 loss to the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday and is playing for the third time in four nights

Ronald Murray scored 10 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter for the Sonics, who have lost three in a row overall and seven of their last 10.

"It's all a matter of time before we get it back and start clicking," Murray said. "It may take a long time, but it may take a short time. We have to go out there and get the job done."

The SuperSonics are trying to avoid falling below .500 for the first time this season.
