The Pacers won two of five games on their trip that included games against two Western Conference powerhouses in the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. They also played the Portland Trail Blazers - one of the best home teams in the NBA. Indiana is home for the first time since November 28. It has won five consecutive games at Conseco Fieldhouse, where it is 7-2 this season. The Pacers completed their eight-day trek with a 91-88 loss to the Kings on Sunday night. Jermaine O'Neal had 20 points and 13 rebounds and reserve Al Harrington added 17 and nine for Indiana, which rallied from a 16-point deficit but did not score in the final three minutes. The Pacers came back despite playing the second half without second-leading scorer Ron Artest, who was ejected late in the second quarter for arguing with the officials. Washington snapped a four-game losing streak with a 114-109 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Larry Hughes scored eight of his season-high 36 points in overtime and reserve Kwame Brown added a season-high 18 for the Wizards, who improved to 1-2 on a four-game road trip. The teams are meeting for the first time this season and Washington is trying to win three straight meetings against Indiana for the first time the 1996-97 campaign.
