SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The Boston Celtics try for a rare win at the Delta Center on Monday when they finish a two-game road trip against the Utah Jazz.
The Celtics have just one victory in 11 road games against the Jazz since the Delta Center opened in 1991. They posted there only win here on February 15, 2000.
Utah has a 22-12 all-time home record against Boston, which has lost 13 of its last 14 visits to Salt Lake City.
The Jazz have been dominant at home this season but their road struggled continued with a 94-92 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
Rookie Maurice Williams scored 12 of his season-high 16 points in the fourth quarter for Utah, which rallied from a 21-point deficit before falling short, nearly knocking off the only team in the NBA without a home loss.
DeShawn Stevenson scored 13 points and rookie Sasha Pavlovic added 12 as the Jazz played their sixth straight game without point guard Carlos Arroyo, who is sidelined with a sprained left ankle.
Utah opens a three-game homestand against Boston and is 10-1 at the Delta Center this season.
The Celtics snapped a four-game losing streak with a 116-111 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Sunday.
Paul Pierce had 33 points and 10 rebounds and Eric Williams scored a season-high 21 points as Boston played the second half without Vin Baker, who left the game due to the flu.
