PORTLAND, Oregon (Ticker) -- The Portland Trail Blazers will have to overcome yet another off-court incident on Wednesday when they host the Indiana Pacers at the Rose Garden.
The Trail Blazers have been plagued by arrests and other distractions in recent seasons and have another to deal with after forward Zach Randolph was charged with driving under the influence on Monday. The team is waiting for results of police tests before taking any disciplinary action.
Randolph's arrest came during a four-day break Portland had following Friday's 97-93 victory over the New Jersey Nets.
Randolph had 26 points and nine rebounds and Damon Stoudemire scored a season-high 28 points on 12-of-17 shooting and handed out seven assists for the Trail Blazers, who rallied from a seven-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
Portland started the game without forward Rasheed Wallace, who was punished for a missing a team shootaround before the game. He entered in the second quarter and finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Jeff McInnis scored 18 points for Portland, which has posted all of its wins this season at the Rose Garden, where it is 8-2.
Indiana bounced back from a 22-point loss to the Los Angeles Lakers with an 89-92 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
Jermaine O'Neal had 32 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocks and Al Harrington scored 18 points for the Pacers, who sealed the game with a 28-point fourth quarter.
Indiana played without Ron Artest, who sat out due to a back spasms, and has split the first two games of a season-high five-game road trip against the Western Conference.
Portland won both meetings last season, holding Indiana below 90 points in each game. The Trail Blazers have won three in a row against the Pacers and five of the last six.
