AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons try to extend their winning streak to four games on Wednesday when they host the Miami Heat at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Pistons have won three consecutive games after losing two of three. They already have had a five-game winning streak as well a four-game skein this season.

Detroit completed an unbeaten two-game road trip by rallying from a 15-point second-quarter deficit for a 79-78 overtime victory over the New York Knicks on Monday.

Chauncey Billups scored seven of his 24 points in overtime and Mehmet Okur blocked a jumper by New York's Michael Doleac at the buzzer as the Pistons won for the eighth time in 10 games.

Okur had 14 points and nine rebounds and Ben Wallace grabbed 14 boards for Detroit, which is one of just six teams in the NBA with a winning road record (7-4).

The Pistons have had more success at The Palace, where they have won six of eight games.

Miami extended its home winning streak to four games with a 78-66 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.

Rookie Dwyane Wade scored 16 points and Eddie Jones added 12 for the Heat, who have won two of three following a three-game losing streak.

Miami has lost 19 of its last 21 games away from home, including 10 of 11 this season.

The Pistons posted a 93-81 victory over the Heat on October 31 and have won six of the last eight overall meetings between the teams.
