Seattle Supersonics at Utah Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz try to continue their stellar start at home when they host the Seattle SuperSonics at the Delta Center on Friday.

The Jazz, who have won back-to-back games, are a surprising 8-6, including 7-1 here. On Wednesday, they beat Houston, 83-76, as Andrei Kirilenko scored 19 of his 23 points in the final 24 minutes.

Raul Lopez and fellow rookie Mo Williams each added 10 points for Utah, which limited Houston to just 33 percent shooting (34-of-86).

Seattle was routed at home by New Jersey on Tuesday, 93-70, after getting outscored in the second half, 57-25. It was the fewest points the SuperSonics ever had scored in a half.

Rashard Lewis paced Seattle with 14 points on 3-of-13 shooting. The Sonics connected shot just 34 percent (23-of-68) from the field.

The Jazz have won six in a row at home over the Sonics since a loss on February 1, 2000.
