Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns

PHOENIX (Ticker) -- The Golden State Warriors try to record their first road triumph of the season when they visit the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

The Warriors are 6-3 at The Arena this season but are 0-4 on the road.

Golden State has won back-to-back games, including a 78-72 victory over Portland on Sunday.

Jason Richardson contributed 21 points and 10 rebounds, Mike Dunleavy Jr. 17 and 10 and Erick Dampier 11 and 17 for the Warriors, who shot just 38 percent (30-of-79). Dampier has a league-high 12 double-doubles, including seven in a row.

Phoenix routed Dallas here on Wednesday, 121-90, as seven players reached double figures.

Joe Johnson scored 21 points, Penny Hardaway 20 off the bench and Stephon Marbury added 18 and 12 assists.

Rookie Zarko Cabarkapa had a season-high 17 points, but suffered a fractured right wrist after getting pushed by Danny Forston on a breakaway layup. Cabarkapa will be out for six to eight weeks.

The teams met at The Arena on November 10, and the Suns posted a 99-96 triumph behind 22 points apiece from Johnson and Marbury.

Phoenix has won the last four meetings here since a loss on January 19, 2001.
