Recap | Boxscore

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic try to halt the third-longest slide in franchise history on Friday when they continue a four-game homestand against the Toronto Raptors at TD Waterhouse Center.

The Magic have lost 14 consecutive games since winning their season opener against the New York Knicks. They had a 15-game slide from March 22-April 20, 1990 and a team-record 17-game skid from December 4-January 7, 1992.

Orlando continued the worst start in the team's 16-year history on Wednesday with a 94-92 loss to the Boston Celtics.

Tracy McGrady scored 24 points before fouling out and Donnell Harvey added 16 for the Magic, who remained winless in eight home games this season.

Orlando has lost 13 consecutive home games, including the preseason and the 2003 playoffs.

Toronto opened a four-game road trip with a 99-97 overtime victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

Vince Carter - a cousin and former teammate of McGrady - scored a season-high 43 points and buried a clitch jumper with 1.2 seconds left as the Raptors won their second straight road game after losing their first five.

Rookie Chris Bosh had 17 points and Antonio Davis added 10 and 11 rebounds for Toronto, which has won three of five following a season-high three-game losing streak.
