Chicago Bulls at San Antonio Spurs

SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs try to hand the reeling Chicago Bulls a seventh straight defeat on Wednesday when they meet at the SBC Center.

The Bulls were routed at Dallas on Tuesday, 124-98, in the debut of interim coach Pete Myers, who took over when Bill Cartwright was fired on Monday.

Tyson Chandler scored 17 points and Jamal Crawford added 16 and eight assists for Chicago, which fell to 0-4 on its five-game road trip. The Bulls are 0-8 against Western Conference teams this season.

The Spurs routed Atlanta on Friday, 114-75, behind 25 points and 10 rebounds by Tim Duncan.

Manu Ginobili scored 20 points and Tony Parker added 17 for San Antonio, which led by 24 points after one quarter and 68-34 at the break.

The Spurs have won their last four meetings with the Bulls and the last four at home. San Antonio has won eight of nine encounters since Michael Jordan retired following the 1997-98 season.
