After firing coach Doc Rivers, they have lost all three games under Johnny Davis. On Monday, Orlando lost to Indiana here, 89-78, to slip within four defeats of tying its franchise-worst skid, set during the 1991-92 season. Juwan Howard had 17 points to pace Orlando, which was without superstar guard Tracy McGrady, who had a 103-degree fever. Boston lost at home to New York on Monday, 94-88, despite the absence of the Knicks' two leading scorers, Allan Houston and Keith Van Horn. The Celtics were outscored, 34-12, in the third quarter after taking a 10-point lead into the break. Vin Baker and Paul Pierce scored 16 points apiece for Boston, but Pierce made only 4-of-15 shots. The teams split their four games last season, with each winning twice at home. The Celtics have won six of the last nine meetings.
