Recap | Boxscore

MIAMI (Ticker) -- The New Orleans Hornets go for their fourth straight road win Tuesday night as they take on the Miami Heat.

The Hornets, Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons are the only teams with five road victories this season. New Orleans is 5-2 away from home after Sunday's dramatic 81-80 victory at Detroit.

New Orleans got the win when Baron Davis drove past Ben Wallace and threw down a two-handed dunk over Detroit guard Bob Sura with one second remaining.

Jamaal Magloire had 20 points and a season-high 15 rebounds and Davis finished with 18 points and seven assists for the Hornets, who have won three road games by less than five points.

Miami returns home after going 1-4 on a five-game road trip. After splitting the first two games, the Heat dropped the final three, losing by a combined 13 points.

In Saturday's 100-98 setback at Phoenix, rookie Dwyane Wade scored a season-high 27 points. Wade reached double figures in every game on the trip.

Lamar Odom scored 24 points, but missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer. Former Hornet Eddie Jones added 22 for the Heat, who shot just 38 percent (31-of-82).

The Hornets have won the last seven meetings with the Heat since an 81-76 road loss on April 6, 2001.
