Recap | Boxscore

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- The Golden State Warriors try to keep the Portland Trail Blazers winless on the road when they meet at The Arena on Sunday.

The Trail Blazers are 7-1 at the Rose Garden but 0-4 on the road this campaign.

Portland beat Houston on Friday, 85-78, as Damon Stoudamire scored 23 points and Zach Randolph added 21.

Rasheed Wallace, Qyntel Woods and Jeff McInnis nearly got involved in a fight with the Rockets toward the end of the game, sullying the victory.

Portland was without Bonzi Wells, who was finishing a team-imposed two-game suspension for swearing at coach Maurice Cheeks in a loss to Dallas on Monday.

Golden State had lost four straight games before beating Miami here Friday, 101-91.

Jason Richardson scored 29 points and Clifford Robinson added 21 for the Warriors. Erick Dampier added 16 and 11 rebounds for his 11th double-double of the season.

Warriors point guard Nick Van Exel missed his second game in a row with left knee pain.

Portland swept Golden State last season and has won 14 of 16 meetings since the 1999-2000 campaign.
