Toronto Raptors at New Jersey Nets

Recap | Boxscore

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The New Jersey Nets hope to put aside a minor squabble from a practice when they host the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.

News broke of a scuffle between Kenyon Martin and Alonzo Mourning from a practice session on Thursday. Martin and Richard Jefferson reportedly laughed at Mourning, who was running sprints.

Mourning apparently took exception to a remark about his health from Martin and both players had to be held back. A day later, they insisted that all was well.

The Nets' play at home is not OK since they are 2-4 and have yet to score more than 85 points. They were stifled down the stretch of Tuesday's 88-85 setback to New Orleans. Toronto is 0-5 on the road and lost for the fourth time in five games with Wednesday's 81-75 home defeat to Philadelphia. Vince Carter finished with 20 points and seven assists.

Carter poured in a season-high 39 points in Toronto's season-opening 90-87 victory over New Jersey on October 29. Jason Kidd had 11 points and 10 assists for New Jersey.

The Nets have won six straight at home against the Raptors.
