OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- The Golden State Warriors try to snap their season-high four-game losing streak as they host the Miami Heat on Friday.

Golden State is returning home after going winless on a three-game road trip. Two of the losses were by two points, including Wednesday's 85-83 setback to the Houston Rockets.

The Warriors were done in by 3-of-17 shooting from the arc, including a miss by Mike Dunleavy Jr. with three seconds left that would have given them a one-point lead. Erick Dampier collected his 10th double-double missed a pair of foul shots and couldn't stop Yao Ming from scoring 15 of Houston's 21 fourth-quarter points.

Golden State also lost its last home game and is 4-3 here.

Miami has won three of its last five games following its season-opening seven-game losing streak. The Heat have averaged 93.6 points during that span.

The Heat are 1-2 on a five-game road trip that concludes Saturday at Phoenix.

After winning at Seattle on Tuesday, Miami suffered its closest loss of the season, a 94-93 setback to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Rookie Dwyane Wade scored a season-high 24 points but the Heat blew a 12-point lead in the final five minutes. Eddie Jones led Miami with 26 points and his 3-pointer gave Miami its biggest lead before Portland switched to a zone defense.

Golden State is 11-4 at home vs. Miami but has dropped four of its last six home contests in the series.
