DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Dallas Mavericks try to remain undefeated at home when they host the intrastate rival San Antonio Spurs at the American Airlines Center on Thursday.

The Mavericks are 5-0 here this season and have won four of five overall. On Monday, they beat Portland here, 105-98, after rallying from a 14-point third-quarter deficit.

Michael Finley scored 25 points, Dirk Nowitzki and Antawn Jamison 20 apiece and Steve Nash added 14, 12 assists and 10 rebounds for his first career triple-double. It also was the first triple-double at the American Airlines Center.

San Antonio has won back-to-back contests and four of five. On Tuesday, the Spurs shot a season-high 50 percent as they beat Golden State, 94-81.

Tim Duncan had 21 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Spurs, who nailed 10-of-17 3-pointers.

The Mavericks edged the Spurs on the road on November 8, 81-78, as Jamison scored 20 points off the bench, including a tip-in with 4.9 seconds left.

The Spurs were playing without the injured Duncan and Tony Parker, but received 20 points and a career-high 22 rebounds from Malik Rose. It was the first meeting since the Spurs ousted the Mavericks in six games in the Western Conference finals en route to their second NBA championship.
