Philadelphia 76ers at Toronto Raptors

Recap | Boxscore

TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers will be without star guard Allen Iverson on Wednesday as they try to bounce back from an abysmal performance when they take on the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.

Iverson did not make the trip to Toronto as he remained in Philadelphia to have treatment on his injured right knee. It is a difficult blow for the Sixers, who already are without injured forwards Derrick Coleman and Glenn Robinson.

"I know there isn't any muscle damage," Iverson said. "It's not hurting me as bad as it was. A lot of the pain went away. The thing is there is so much swelling, that I can't bend it all the way. It bothers me when I run."

The 76ers are coming off their worst offensive performance in nearly eight years, a 74-66 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday. It was the franchise's lowest total since managing just 57 points against the Miami Heat on February 21, 1996 - the year before they drafted Allen Iverson.

Philadelphia is playing for the fourth time in six days in Toronto, where it has not lost since November 25, 2001. The Sixers won all three meetings with the Raptors last season, but have not won four in a row in the series since a six-game run from April 14, 1999 to November 1, 2000.

Iverson managed a season-low 15 points on 4-of-19 shooting in Monday's loss - the second consecutive defeat for the Sixers.

Kenny Thomas returned from a back contusion, but had just four points on 2-of-5 shooting as the Sixers shot a season-low 32 percent (23-of-73).

Toronto snapped a three-game losing streak with a 101-97 overtime victory over Houston here on Sunday.

Rookie Chris Bosh scored 10 of his season-high 25 points in overtime after forcing the extra period with a 3-pointer and the Raptors remained unbeaten in five home games this season.

Vince Carter scored 18 points, while Lamond Murray and Antonio Davis each added 13 for Toronto.
