Miami Heat at L.A. Lakers

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Lakers attempt to remain one of five unbeaten teams at home when they host the Miami Heat, who have yet to win a road game.

Los Angeles is 4-0 at home, joining Sacramento, Utah, Dallas and Toronto - teams with identical marks.

Shaquille O'Neal collected 21 points and 15 rebounds and Gary Payton also scored 21 as the Lakers extended their regular-season home winning streak to 19 games with a 94-89 victory over Detroit on Friday. Their last loss was a 117-110 setback to New York on February 16.

Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone each scored 16 points for Los Angeles, which is completing a three-game homestand. Devean George had four of the Lakers' 11 steals.

Los Angeles and Miami have split their two meetings each of the last three seasons. The Lakers' 106-81 victory here last year snapped a two-game home losing streak against the Heat.

Miami is 0-5 on the road, but has won its last two games. The Heat pulled out a 105-101 overtime victory over Washington on Friday before beginning this five-game road trip.

Former Laker Eddie Jones scored 27 points and Lamar Odom added 26 for Miami. Sunday's game will mark Odom's return to the Staples Center, where he spent the first four years of his career with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Heat rookie Dwyane Wade is averaging 11.1 points and 4.4 assists while shooting just over 32 percent from the floor.
