Recap | Boxscore

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- After a tough loss, the Detroit Pistons play on consecutive nights for the second time this season as they visit the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

Detroit opened its four-game Western Conference road trip Tuesday and had a five-game winning streak snapped with a 97-91 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Richard Hamilton scored 19 points to lead the Pistons in scoring for the third straight game, but shot just 4-of-15 and committed a pair of costly turnovers in the final two minutes of the game.

The Pistons played without Ben Wallace, who sat out with a sprained left ankle.

Detroit visits the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday and concludes the trip Saturday night against the Phoenix Suns. The first time they played on back-to-back nights, the Pistons defeated the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic on October 31 and November 1.

The Warriors fell to 2-1 on their current five-game homestand with a 99-96 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Jason Richardson scored 22 points, but sprained his left ankle with 3:29 left in the fourth and may sit out Wednesday.

Richardson has led Golden State in scoring in each of the last three games he played after missing the first three contests to serve a league-imposed suspension for a domestic assault conviction.

The teams are meeting for the first time since the Pistons sent center Clifford Robinson to the Warriors for guard Bob Sura on August 21. The 6-10 Robinson averaged 12.2 points and 3.9 rebounds in 81 games last season, his second with Detroit. His scoring average was his lowest since 1990-91 with Portland and his rebounding average was his lowest since his rookie season of 1989-90.

Robinson has started all six games and averaged 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds.

Sura has seen minimal action in five games, making just 1-of-6 shots.

Golden State has won its last three home games with the Pistons. The Warriors are 2-0 against the East this season.
