New Orleans turned in a woeful defensive performance in Tuesday's 125-97 setback at Dallas. The Hornets allowed the Mavericks to shoot more than 58 percent (54-of-93). Baron Davis scored 25 points on 11-of-17 shooting and David Wesley chipped in 17 points. New Orleans has surrendered 236 points in the last two games after not allowing 100 in its first six games. Utah is searching for its first road win after dropping its first three contests. The Jazz suffered an 87-78 loss at San Antonio on Monday. Matt Harpring scored 11 points and Andrei Kirilenko and Jarron Collins added 10 apiece. The Jazz shot just over 40 percent and committed 22 turnovers. The Hornets swept both meetings last season.
