*Frandsen, Vizquel homer to lead Giants over Dodgers*

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Kevin Frandsen and Omar Vizquel hit a pair of two-run homers and Barry Zito pitched eight strong innings as the Giants avoided a three-game sweep with an 11-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday.

Zito (11-13) gave up just two runs on five hits without a walk and four strike outs in winning his second straight start.

Pedro Feliz added four hits for the Giants, who snapped a four-game losing streak with the win.

"It was good to get in the win column again to end the season," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said.

San Francisco scored five runs in the fourth inning and three more runs in the sixth as they jumped all over Los Angeles starter Eric Stults.

"The key to this game was that we put some big innings together," Zito said. "I just went out and was aggressive and made my pitches."

Stults (4-9) was making just his fifth start of the year and gave up six runs on 11 hits in just four innings.

San Francisco scored in the top of the first when Randy Winn stroked a RBI double to score Rajai Davis, who had led off the game with a walk.

The Giants scored five times in the top of the fourth to take a 6-0 lead. Vizquel hit a two-run homer and Guillermo Rodriguez and Pedro Feliz also added RBI singles.

"I just went up looking for a good pitch to hit and I got a pitch I could handle and put a good swing on it," Vizquel said.

Frandsen hit his sixth home run of the season in the sixth and Nick Schierholtz had a RBI single to center, making the score, 9-0.

Delwyn Young hit a two-run homer in the seventh for Dodgers, who ended the season losing 11 of their last 14 games.

"We didn't end the final month of the season like how we wanted to but now we just have to get ready to go at it again next season," Dodgers manager Grady Little said.
