Cleveland Indians at Baltimore Orioles 7:05 pm Recap | Boxscore BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- After five years in the National League, Brian Anderson returns to the Cleveland Indians on Thursday when he takes the mound in the rubber game of a three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards. Anderson pitched for the Indians from 1996-97 before he was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks. He spent five seasons with Arizona and went 41-42 in 160 appearances, including 129 starts. The 30-year-old lefthander was 6-11 with a 4.79 ERA in 35 appearances - 24 starts - with the Diamondbacks last season. Anderson (NR) won his only start against the Orioles in interleague play last season and is 3-3 with a 5.60 ERA in seven career appearances against them. The Orioles hand the ball to Rick Helling (NR), who was with Anderson in Arizona last season. Helling spent five years with the Texas Rangers before signing with Arizona, where he was 10-12 with a 4.51 ERA in 30 starts last season. The veteran righthander is 2-2 with a 5.32 ERA in eight career starts against Cleveland. The Indians bounced back from an Opening Day loss with a 4-2 victory over the Orioles on Wednesday. Ellis Burks drove in a pair of runs to help lead Cleveland to its first win under rookie manager Eric Wedge.
